RED DE EXCELENCIA "DESARROLLO DE UN MODELO CRIMINOLOGICO Y EMPIRICO DE LA POLITICA CRIMINAL"

General goals: a) To join the principal Spanish research groups in Criminology to work in the practical implications of their research; b) To incorporate the empirical knowledge into criminal policy; c) To advise the government and other entities in crime prevention and in the decision-making process in the elaboration and execution of criminal law.

Specification of goal B: a) To analyse the impact of the research made by the groups; b) To develop strategies to improve the impact of that research and c) To share the knowledge generated by each group between the members of EmpiriC. In all goals it is incorporated the comparison with the European criminal-policy models.
