Milena Villena, Irene

Irene graduated in Criminology and Public Policies of Prevention from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2019-2023) and completed her studies by taking the Master's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Execution offered by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Universitat de Girona and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (2023-2024).

She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on sexual aggression in the context of intimate partner violence and is considering restorative justice as a possible option currently prohibited in cases of sexual violence. Her supervisor is Professor Elena Larrauri.

Her academic interests lie in: sexual violence, restorative justice and gender.
