Lawyer and Master in Management and Public Policy at the University of Chile. Master's degree in Criminology, Criminal Policy and Criminal Law Sociology at the University of Barcelona.

His doctoral thesis analyses the growth of post-penitentiary intervention and the decline in the use of progressive sentencing mechanisms in the Chilean penal system. He has experience in studies in the context of closure, consultancies on juvenile justice and analysis of the implementation of public policies.
