Úrsula Ruiz Cabello has a degree in Law (2010-2014) and Criminology and Public Policies of Prevention (2012-2016) at the Pompeu Fabra University. She completed her regulated training taking two masters: the first one is the Master’s degree in Professional Legal Practice (2014-2016) by UPF Barcelona School of Management and the second one is the Master’s degree in Criminology, Criminal Policy and Sociology (2016-2018) at the University of Barcelona.

While she was doing these studies, she collaborated as a Research Fellow in the Center of Legal Studies and Continuing Education of the Government of Catalonia.

She is currently Post doctoral research and lecturing staff at the UPF.

Her academic interest lies in juvenile justice, the treatment of vulnerable groups by the penal system, the impact of imprisonment and victimology and restorative justice.
