Abstract
From laugh to weeping, from comedy to melodrama, Hollywood classic cinema knew how to build an indestructible bridge of passions with its audience. What did the glance of the spectator, thirsty of stories, expect? To always follow the same initiation itinerary: the route of feelings, the perfect visualization of love on its epiphany, passion —creative force of the universe— halfway between some eyes crisscrossed for the first time. La mirada en el temps suggests a journey through film sentimental geography, to prove that mythical machinery developed during classic Hollywood cinema did not do anything more than reproduce in celluloid the inevitably loving relationship always established between the cinema audience and the screen.
