Alexander C. Trigg is an anthropologist and filmmaker from Barcelona. His work seeks to combine the reflexive and participatory qualities of anthropology with the freedom and ambiguities afforded by a more experimental approach. The result is a shared documentary practice rooted in a local context and deeply involving participants in the creative process. His films have been screened at DocLisboa, RIDM, D’A, Festival dei Popoli, Punto de Vista, Documenta Madrid, and the CCCB (Xcèntric).
