Samantha da Silva Diefenthaeler holds dual bachelor's degrees in Communication from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and the University of Lisbon (Portugal), as well as a Master's in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies from Pompeu Fabra University, where she completed her doctoral thesis focused on the comedic roles of women in the history of cinema. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher in training at Pompeu Fabra University, affiliated with the CINEMA research group.
