On March 9, 2024, a delegation of members from the Maison du Dialogue et de la Paix (MADIPAX), a French association devoted to the protection and promotion of cultural diversity and religious plurality, visited Pompeu Fabra University to get to know the Center for Studies in Aesthetics, Religion, and Contemporary Culture up close. Throughout the week, MADIPAX members met with other institutions and associations that, in various fields, are interested in the need to improve and protect spaces for intercultural and interreligious dialogue.

On the occasion of this meeting, CERCCA organized a small concert at the Espai Tàpies - Meditation Room of the UPF, where composer Manel Ribera, J&M Villavecchia 2023, presented two of his own works, performed by Ensemble Fluido with Andrea Peirón (cello) and Fix Nicolet (guitar). The artists first performed Variations on the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat, accompanied by the original pieces from this 1399 codex. Secondly, they offered a preview of a work in progress, Divine Paracusiae, which is the creative result of Manel Ribera's research and artistic creation project as a J&M Villavecchia fellow. It consists of variations based on the visionary experiences of Hildegard von Bingen, engaging in dialogue with medieval cosmology through experimental musical language.

Attendees were able to exchange views and discuss the common interests of CERCCA and MADIPAX at a subsequent reception regarding the promotion and protection of spaces for tolerance and dialogue in the artistic and academic worlds.
