On April 27, the Evaluation Committee of the Ideograma Chair Award - UPF for the best Final Master's Thesis in the field of Political and Institutional Communication met to issue a final verdict on the winning application.

In total, 27 applications were submitted, from 14 masters in the field of communication and with a geographical origin from 12 different cities.

Given the high number of applications submitted and their academic and methodological quality, the Evaluation Commission decided to offer the finalist rating to 2 more applications, which have been awarded with a batch of books on Political Communication.

Regarding the winning candidacy, the work chosen unanimously is the investigation: «The populist discourse on Twitter. Analysis of the case of Santiago Abascal in the electoral campaign of 10N », whose author is Sandra Pallarés Navarro (Master's Degree in Communication, Culture, Society and Politics, UNED). Among the reasons for his choice are the quality of the presentation, an exhaustive methodology, the depth of its theoretical framework and the contextualization of the work, as well as a section of results and conclusions that are clear and applicable to the current political and communicative reality.
