Presentation of the new credibility study of the Chair, with a subsequent dialogue to talk about Twitter and communication in a pandemic.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. in Spain, the Ideogram - UPF Chair of Political Communication and Democracy is organizing the webinar Digital sphere, disinformation and citizenship.

The new credibility study of the Chair will be presented: "Analysis of the credibility of information on Twitter according to the type of opinion leader, in the context of Covid-19" and subsequently, a dialogue will be established on the use of Twitter and communication in a pandemic, moderated by Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí and with the following speakers:

 

- Camino Rojo, Director of Public Policies and Philanthropy at Twitter Spain.

- Carmen Beatriz Fernández, political and academic consultant. She is a visiting professor at the University of Navarra where she teaches various subjects on political communication and participates in a line of research on disinformation and cyberpolitics. She directs @DataStrategia and is a founding member of the Organization of Latin American Political Consultants @OCPLA.

- David Álvarez, social media analyst and consultant, specializing in the field of politics and the media. He has worked with politicians and political organizations for his management in digital communication, as well as in the management and coordination of communication in government networks such as the Balearic Autonomous Government. He has also worked for years advising social media management for multiple Spanish media outlets, both in print and on television and radio (Atresmedia, Grupo Prisa, Grupo Z, Henneo, RTVE, Telemadrid, Vocento...) .
