The call for the Ideograma-UPF Chair's Award is open

The call for applications to the Ideograma - UPF Chair's Award is opened. This award is destinated to those students who had presented a master's thesis in the field of political and institutional communication during the 2019-20 academic year.

The Ideograma - UPF Chair was created with the aim of promoting training, research and the divulgation of knowledge in the field of political communication, as well as its effects on democratic systems.

The collaboration between political communication consultancy and academia allows us to offer a series of activities aimed at disseminating science in this field, including the Ideograma - UPF Chair's Award.

The Ideograma - UPF Chair's Award  recognizes and rewards those Master's Thesis in the field of political and institutional communication. These investigations must have been presented during the 2019/20 academic year and it doesn’t matter if the Master isn’t focused in the political and institucional communication area while the Master’s Thesis does it.

 

The office of the Ideograma -UPF Chair of Political Communication and Democracy is located on the Poblenou campus.

Only the Master Thesis that have received a minimum qualification of 9, in the scale of 10, from the institution that will carry out the defense can be presented to obtain the award. The author of the work will receive an amount of  1,725 €, divided into two payments, as well as advice for 3 months from the Chair to develop and expand the line of research and to be able to publish this research with the rest of the Chair's investigations.

The documentation to present to participate in this call is the following:

  1. Manuscript of the Master’s Thesis. (Complete TFM, without references of authorship or the institution where it was presented)
  2. Official certificate that reflects the qualification assigned to the TFM.
  3. Authorship form.
