Sara Vidal-Ramón

Sara is a PhD researcher in the Department of Communication at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and a member of the CritiCC communication research group at the same university. Her research areas include Critical Animal and Media Studies, Critical Discourse Analysis, Interspecies Ethics, and Science & Technology Studies. She graduated in English and Spanish Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and holds a MA in Editorial Translation from the Valencian International University (VIU), and a MA in Discourse Studies (UPF). Sara is the project manager of the PESTS research project (PID2024-156807OB-I00), and she is currently conducting her PhD research titled: "The Biotechnological Nature Fix: A critical discourse analysis of science, media, and policy narratives on animal management".
