The Research Group on Language Learning and Teaching is led by Dr. Daniel Cassany. The group focuses on language education, such as plurilinguism, interculturality, the integration of ICT and the access to the academic community (specialized reading and writing).

- Analysis and review of various approaches and proposals for language teaching and learning
- Description and analysis of the learning processes in the classroom

- Analysis and review of analog and digital educational materials for formal learning
- Documentation, description and analysis of vernacular and school literacy practices
