Alejandro Ortega-Arranz ‬received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunications engineering from the Universidad de Valladolid, Spain, in 2015 and 2021, respectively. He is currently a post-doc researcher at the GSIC-EMIC Research Group, Universidad de Valladolid. His main research interests include MOOCs, ubiquitous and game-based learning, gamification, and the technologies supporting the design and implementation of these strategies in online environments.
