The TIDE group (Interactive & Distributed Technologies for Education) is part of the Engineering School of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. TIDE  has expertise in research around design, development and evaluation of technology-enhanced learning applications, learning design, analytics to support teaching and learning, (co-)authoring and social tools, computer-supported collaborative learning, serious games, mobile learning, competence development and assessment tools, interoperability specifications…  through European and national research and innovation projects. The group is led by a Full Professor and a team of members including senior and postdoc researchers, a developer, PhD students, and research assistants.

The Telematic Applications and Services Group (GAST) is part of the Department of Telematic Engineering Department of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The main research lines of GAST are in the areas of e-learning, pervasive computing and Web technologies.
Approximately 50 researchers make up the GAST group, grouped in 3 research labs.

The Group of Intelligent & Cooperative Systems is a Consolidated Research Unit (UIC) in Castilla y León. It is a transdisciplinary group, composed by 17 members from the School of Telecomunications Engineering, School of Computer Engineering, and Faculty of Education & Social Work at the University of Valladolid. The main field of research of GSIC is Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL), and Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) with a focus on Learning Design (LD), Learning Analytics (LA), Educational Data Mining (EDM), socio-semantic technologies and linked open data, Ubiquitous Learning (UL), Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Worlds (VWs), learning at scale (MOOCs), gamification for learning, and classroom orchestration
