Juan I. Asensio-Pérez ‬received‭ ‬his‭ ‬MSc‭ ‬and‭ ‬PhD‭ ‬degrees‭ ‬in‭ ‬telecommunications‭ ‬engineering‭ ‬from‭ ‬the‭ ‬Universidad‭ ‬de‭ ‬Valladolid,‭ ‬Spain,‭ ‬in‭ 1995 ‬and‭ 2000 ‬respectively.‭ ‬He‭ ‬is‭ ‬currently‭ ‬Full Professor ‬at‭ ‬the‭ ‬Department‭ ‬of‭ ‬Signal‭ ‬Theory,‭ ‬Communications‭ ‬and‭ ‬Telematics‭ ‬Engineering,‭ ‬Universidad‭ ‬de‭ ‬Valladolid.‭ ‬His main research interests include: Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning; Ubiquitous Learning; Smart Learning Environments; Learning Design; Learning Analytics.
