Demosoc Celebrates 20 Years of Research and Community
The Demosoc Research Group celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special gathering in Barcelona that brought together over 80 former members, colleagues, and collaborators from around the world. The event offered an opportunity to reflect on two decades of research, collaboration, and training, while also looking ahead to future projects and initiatives.
Highlights of the celebration included a heartfelt tribute to Professor Gøsta Esping-Andersen, the founder of Demosoc, recognized by long-time colleagues and former students, many of whom have since established successful academic careers internationally.
