The 13th Conference of the Media Psychology Division of the German Psychological Association (DGPs) was held between the 6th and 8th of September 2023 at the University of Luxembourg. International media psychologists met and discussed their latest results. As part of this, the COURAGE team participated with two studies on combating hate speech and discrimination online, presented by Dr. Johanna Börsting and Veronica Schwarze (supervised by Prof. Dr. Sabrina Eimler). In addition, Veronica Schwarze presented the first results of her PhD project, an interactive eBook designed to raise children's awareness of social diversity.
Dr. Johanna Börsting provided results from a student project on the topic of phubbing. The group used the meeting intensively for networking. Overall, a successful conference!
