Carmen Á. Granell holds a degree in Archaeology (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and a Master's degree in Global History (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and in Secondary Education Teacher Training (Universitat de Barcelona). She is currently studying for a PhD in History at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.  Her main interests include: the socio-historical construction of ageism and ableism, the impact of colonialism on transgenerational learning and the relevance of Decolonial Pedagogies in the processes of historical reparation of colonialism in the Ex-Metropolis. Her PhD research focuses on the changes and continuities of the transgenerational learning in Tåno’ Låguas yan Gåni (Mariana Islands) between 1500 BC and 1898 AD.
