We are pleased to announce that Maria R. Carreras, member of the UPF-CAE board, passed with honours her PhD viva voce examination on July 23rd. Maria defended the PhD dissertation "Interest Groups, Discourse and Food Orientations. The Case of the European Dairy Industry", which had been supervised by dr. Núria Almiron. The members of the commission were Jordi Xifra (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Vasile Stanescu (Mercer University) and Toby Miller (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Cuajimalpa).
