Maria R. Carreras participates as instructor in the 2020-2021 edition of the course Critical Animal Studies - Animals in Society, Culture and the Media, at the Media and Communition Department of the University of Lund, Sweden.

The course is promoted by the Critical Animal Studies Network -LUCASN and aims to be an introduction to the field of Critical Animal Studies with an interdisciplinary perspective. The course is a ten-week module starting in January 2021 this year and currently taught, due to the pandemic, fully online. María will be the instructor of four sessions devoted to topics like animals's agency and resistance; intersectionality, and the relationship between language and power.
