The Department of Information and Communications Technologies of the public Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, invites applications for a tenure track faculty position.
The candidate should hold a PhD and have a strong background in all areas of Systems programming, Operating Systems and Software Engineering, which integrate well with the educational and research needs of the department.
The candidate should demonstrate outstanding experience in outreach and knowledge transfer to other institutions, companies and the public sector.
Teaching excellence will be highly considered (such as proved through students' evaluations, etc.), as well as expertise in engineering courses in Systems programming, Operating Systems and Software Engineering, Concurrent and Parallel Programming.
Previous experience in professional service will also be valued, as the candidate might be required to assume some management responsibilities.
Gross annual salary: 41.439,86€
