During the week of March 7, the University set up a collection point for various materials (food, medicines and specific products such as batteries, towels or flashlights) at the entrance of the Roger de Llúria building on the Ciutadella campus. The initiative, proposed by several student volunteers working in collaboration with the Consulate General of Ukraine in Barcelona, allowed them to collect about thirty boxes with various materials, mainly hygiene products, medicines and medical supplies.

The students behind the initiative have made a very positive assessment of the response received: "We believe that the university community has been completely committed to the cause and has responded to the appeal".

In addition to this initiative, UPF students continue to mobilize and promote support actions for the Ukrainian population. Among others, for example, they are preparing a guide to help refugees, with the translation of important information and content that they need to know when they arrive to the country.
