As part of a tradition, the CollabTech conference will bring together researchers and practitioners of collaborative technologies. The 2024 edition will take place in Barcelona and be organized by members of the TIDE Research Group (Pompeu Fabra University). 

The CollabTech conference emphasizes the intersection of technology design and development, delving into innovative technical, human, and organizational approaches to enhance collaboration. Researchers from diverse disciplines are encouraged to submit papers exploring the complex interrelations between collaboration and technology.

The topics of interest include, but are not Limited to:

- Collaboration technology, including multi-user interfaces and VR/AR for collaboration

- Collaboration through social media, covering online communities, crowdsourcing, and digital inclusion

- Organization design and engineering, focusing on work analysis, group decision-making, and measuring team performance

- Collaboration in specific application domains, such as CSCL, CSCD, and collaboration in healthcare

As organizers of the event, TIDE calls for paper and poster proposals for the  CollabTech Conference 2024. Papers will be published by Springer as part of their Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Authors of selected papers will be invited to publish at IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies.
