Xavier Ramon is a PhD candidate, teacher and researcher at the Department of Communication of UPF. His research and teaching focus on journalism ethics, media accountability, communication and sport and the Olympic studies. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Glasgow, the University of Alabama and the IOC Olympic Studies Centre. More information at: http://xavierramon.com

• Instructor of Sports Marketing (Arcadia University. The College of Global Studies).
• Assistant instructor of the MOOC course “The Olympic Games and The Media” (Olympic Studies Centre – Autonomous University of Barcelona).
• Doctoral dissertation: “Sports journalism ethics and quality of information. The coverage of the London 2012 Olympics in the British, American and Spanish press”.
