She is a research professor at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He teaches classes in the degree of Public Relations and Communication at the University Center for Economic-Administrative Sciences. Doctor in Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. Master in Social Communication from the same institution. Graduate in Journalism from the University of Guadalajara. His research focuses on the social responsibility of the media, addressing topics such as journalistic ethics, communication management in crisis situations, misinformation and fact-checking.

He is part of the Research Group on Political Communication, Journalism and Democracy at the UPF, where he participates in several research projects granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain and the International Catalan Institute for Peace. Recently, he obtained second place in the CAC Awards for scientific research on audiovisual communication, awarded by the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia in Spain, for his doctoral thesis: The social responsibility of the media in crisis situations: Analysis of deontological treatment of the Ayotzinapa case (Mexico) on Noticieros Televisa.
