Graduated in Communication Sciences at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies in Mexico, Master in Research in Social Communication at Pompeu Fabra University and PhD student in Communication.

In her professional career as a journalist, highlights her work in the international agencies Reuters and Associated Press as a news producer and video journalist.

She is a member of the coordination team of the Doctorate in Communication and of the competitive research project  FACCTMedia.

She teaches the subjects of Journalistic Culture, Fundamentals of Journalism, News Agencies and Integrated Journalism Workshop

Her lines of research focus on ethics, deontology, journalism and media responsibility.
