Guillem Lloret i Triola (24 years old, Banyoles) is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication at the UPF and a fellow in the Department of Communication. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication and Master's in Teacher Training in Catalan Language and Literature, from the UPF (with a stay at Queen Mary University), has taken the MOOCs The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking (HarvardX MOOC) and Framing Your Communication to Inspire and Convince a (DelftX MOOC).

He has served as head of press and protocol for the Delegation of the Government of the Generalitat in Girona, as a consultant in communication issues on his own account and has carried out several communication and advertising campaigns for various companies and administrations. He has also collaborated with the Universitat de Barcelona, holding two conferences and advising on communication matters.

His research interests are the analysis of political discourses, political communication and cultural studies.
