PhD candidate
Sonia de Luis holds a degree in Hispanic Philology (UB) and a master's degree in linguistic communication (UB) and has studies in corporate communication (UOC). She has been working for ten years as a linguistic consultant, especially for public institutions.
In her doctoral thesis, she studies the parliamentary debate in the Spanish Congress of Deputies from a feminist perspective. Specifically, she analyses whether the quantitative advance of women in positions of power and the rise of feminism imply changes related to the depatriarchalization of political discourse.
