Marcel Mauri de los Rios is PhD in Social Communication from Pompeu Fabra University. He also has a bachelor in Journalism (UPF) and History (UAB). He is a professor and researcher in the Department of Communication at UPF. His research lines and teaching focus on journalistic ethics, deontology and accountability, as well as the study of misinformation. He also does research on the history of journalism and political journalism. He has carried out research stays at the University of Paris - Sorbonne and at the Columbia University in New York.
