Julio Hardisson Guimerà is an associate professor in the Communication and Cultural Industries of the University of Barcelona. In his professional and academic career, he has combined the different disciplines of communication mediated by computer and Cultural Studies. He has a degree in Hispanic Philology and a master's degree in Theory of Literature from the UB. His doctoral thesis focused on social networks and personal branding. He is co-director of the journal Pliego Suelto since 2012 (www.pliegosuelto.com).
