The I Jornadas Nacionales de Comunicación en Salud took place at the Congress Center of the city of Elche on November 18, 2016, under the motto "La Comunicación en Salud, nuestro mejor patrimonio", which aims to establish a parallel between the two world heritage things of the city of Elche and the importance of communication in health in all its areas. The conference included different round tables with invited presentations and communications about this topic.

Rosa Estopà participated in the conference with two presentations titled "Elementos lingüísticos que impiden la comprensión deseada en las comunicaciones médico-paciente" and "Los términos de la salud con ojos de niños".
