Biography note

Ruth Rodríguez Martínez has a Ph.D in Journalism from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She works as a lecturer in the Department of Journalism at UPF and her main research interests are cultural reporting and New Media. In 2008 she carried out postdoctoral research in the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri; in 2010 she carried out postdoctoral research in Laboratoire du Communication et Politique in CNRS (Paris). She has published about Literature and Journalism and New Media. Currently, she is involved in the creation of teaching tools on European cohesion policies. She is an expert in ethical communication and intercultural communication and is the current Research Manager of the Department of Communication.
