Summary

The project investigates the use of mobile technologies in higher education in Spain. It focuses on both students and teachers as well as those responsible for teaching innovation at different universities in Spain. The results are confronted with those of some foreign universities, belonging to the International Alfamed Network. The starting point will be a bibliometric analysis of the scientific production and studies published on the use of smartphones and tablets by the citizens, completed with the study of the perception of attitudes and behaviors in the use of smartphones and tablets in the university environment and the detection of innovative practices in each of the chosen university groups. These studies will allow us to detect shortcomings that should be amended in the media education plans and innovative practices that will need to be promoted and disseminated in the university environment, especially in the degree of education and communication.
