BuscoResi is an innovative project developed by four engineering students from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). It is the first online university residence search engine that will allow future students to compare and choose the residence or college that best suits their possibilities and needs.

The creators have studied different branches of Engineering: Computer Science, Telematics, Audiovisual and Data Science. They decided to undertake this new project together with a very clear goal, to achieve a growing niche market, with potential and that every day generates more benefits for all parties involved. In addition, they start with the advantage of knowing the client's sensibilities very well because most of them have been in a university residence. Their motivations and experiences make them a very complete, versatile and efficient team.

"The change into university life isn't easy because you have to choose where to live in a city you don't know", comment the creators. "We have decided to bet on synthesizing all the details that can be useful for young people in a single simple, up-to-date and easy-to-use website," they add.

BuscoResi will contain information on all student residences and senior colleges in university cities. This includes: description, services, details, location, contact details, agreements with universities and room details.

As if all that wasn't enough, you can find the accommodation present in all the towns in Spain that have residences, although we already know that, at the moment, the cities with the most search traffic are Barcelona, Madrid, Salamanca and Granada

The MVP is already developing and working on the content before going public. When we asked them about the funding, they commented that they are looking for some initial investment that will make a future-oriented launch possible.
