DIY Evolvers

Imatge inicial

Within the framework of the Final Degree Project entitled: "Next Generation Lentiviral Vectors", where a vector-producing cell line has been developed for gene therapy, it is intended to develop a second phase to explore the efficient and scalable production of 'these therapeutic units. Specifically, the goal is to adapt the developed cell line to growth in an eVOLVER device, in order to be able to use directed evolution as a design tool in a DIY environment.

eVOLVER is a recently developed platform, where by means of 3D printing, microfluidics systems controlled by arduino, and integration of these by means of a raspberry pi computer flexible experiments can be carried out, both to quantify evolutionary processes and design tool.
