HandsOnWSN is an informal gathering for people interested in the world of microcontrollers, Arduinos and sensor networks, where people can learn, work together and help each other with their own or others' projects.

HandsOnWSN is a casual meetup for people interested in microcontrollers, Arduinos and sensor network world. People can learn, work together and help each other on their own or other projects. It’s a friendly group for newcomers, although expert users are more than welcome to participate and/or share some of their projects.

Right now, the main working theme is Home automation, using an Arduino network (together with other controllers) and an OpenHAB executed on a Raspberry Pi. Using a I2C protocol (via cable) between Arduino and Raspberry Pi for communication, and then move to different forms of communication (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, etc.) and various controllers (ESP8266, etc).
