Subject occupation control

The minimum number of students enrolled in a course cannot be less than 10.
As general rule, subjects that do not meet the required minimum enrolment will be de-scheduled. However, institutions may agree to maintain the schedule in cases where rescheduling would be seriously detrimental to students or have a negative effect, taking measures to minimise the financial cost if necessary.

In the event that subjects with low enrolment are maintained, at the beginning of the third term, the Academic Management Service will send the UGA information on the occupation of the subjects once the enrolment modification processes have been completed. If necessary, the centres may request modifications to the teaching offer for the next academic year in order to make adjustments to the offer.

Your task consists in...

  • Controlling the occupation of the subjects during tutorials so that the subjects that do not achieve the minimum set by the regulations are not opened.
  • Informing the director of the UCA of the subjects affected in order to modify, if necessary, in the teaching offer.
