CRES researchers Ana M Costa, Ana Rodríguez, Miquel Serra and Carlos Campillo has published in the Journal of Health Economics the article "It's about time: Cesarean sections and neonatal health". Authors find that during night the number of unnecesary and non-justified c-section. Aside from the extra cost, the authors claim that this interventions reduce the Apgar Score of these babies.

Spanish press ABC has featured this findings.
