On December 13, 2023, the Haas Research Group on Poetics of Knowledge is pleased to organize the workshop "The Field of Artistic Photography," where four prominent professionals in the field, Isabel Lázaro (Art Photo BCN), Irene de Mendoza (Foto Colectania), and Sandra Maunac (promoter of the Centro Nacional de Fotografía), will address the situation of photographic art in our environment compared to other realities. They will also examine past initiatives and future expectations, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the sector in its social and infrastructural dimensions. Through their presentations and audience participation, they will analyze whether local creators receive sufficient support and endorsement, assessing their international projection.
