The year 2020 marks the 250^th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven. Born on 16 December 1770 in Bonn (Germany), good old Ludwig is widely recognized as one of the greatest geniuses in the history of music! Working as a composer, conductor and pianist, he transcended the music of his time and became a towering influence on all music to come to this day.
