Miquel Martí Freixas

Miquel Martí Freixas (Barcelona, 1978) is a film programmer, lecturer, cultural manager, and critic. He is the Artistic Director of the Punto de Vista Festival in Navarre and a programmer at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. He has worked as a programmer for festivals and institutions such as DocumentaMadrid, Filmoteca de Catalunya, États généraux du film documentaire in Lussas, ZINEBI, MajorDocs, Curtocircuito, and Mostra Front, among others, and is co-founder of the film showcase La Inesperada. A founding member of the Zumzeig Cinema cooperative, where he has produced a variety of film seasons for the cinema, he has also taught at different universities, master’s programmes, and film schools. In the field of criticism, he was co-founder and editor of the non-fiction film magazine Blogs&Docs (2006–2013).
