Researcher in aesthetics, contemporary art, media art and art–science–technology. Theorist, writer and exhibition curator. For 18 years she directed art centres in Germany, Portugal and Spain. Curator of more than 150 international exhibitions. She has published more than 160 essays and 21 books, including: Estética Digital. Sintopía de arte, ciencia y tecnología (2002); Ecología de la imagen y los media (2017); Inteligencia artificial y posrepresentación. Las cajas negras no tienen hambre (2023). She is director of Lux 48, Madrid.
