Dr Melanie Stockton-Brown is an intellectual property law academic and lecturer at the University of Reading. She is interested in the legal tensions surrounding synthetic content generation, with a primary focus on copyright law.
She created the short film Beloved (2021), about Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, which won an international film award at the English Riviera Film Festival, and was selected at film festivals in Brazil, Italy, and the UK.
