Rucha Thigale is a graphic designer and illustrator from India. Currently studying MA Illustration at University of Arts London, Rucha finds herself strongly inclined to use film as a medium for storytelling. She is passionate about writing and finds that her writing guides a lot of her art. A majority of her work speaks about lived experience and asserts the values of love, faith and empathy. With the advent of generative art, Rucha is keen on experimenting with mediums, both analogue and digital, to incorporate a mixed-media approach in her practice. Her translation of themes into art can be best described as tactile and rich in sensory information. She prefers a stream-of-consciousness narrative style to express the non-linearity of lived experience which is a recurring theme in her work.
