Claudio Celis Bueno is Assistant Professor of New Media and Digital Cultures at the University of Amsterdam. He is the author of The Attention Economy: Labour, Time and Power in Cognitive Capitalism (2017). He is currently a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study at the University of Amsterdam with the project “Cinema Automation: Technological Explorations of Artificial Intelligence in Film Culture.” Together with Pei-Sze Chow, he coordinates the research group AI & Cultural Production.
