Sergio Álvarez Napagao and Carme Puche Moré come together once again through art and algorithm to explore their own work, My Word (2023), from a new perspective: how have video generation models evolved since 2023? Would it be possible to create My Word in 2026? Beyond the dataset, where does the authorship of what we generate reside? Do we create what we want, or what the algorithm wants? Have biases evolved? Are they more visible or more invisible? What remains human behind the machine? Mutations of My Word is an artistic project currently in its research and creation phase thanks to the Barcelona Crea grant, awarded by the UPF and the +Rain Film Festival.
