Barco, together with french company Delair Studios, have conducted a study on the influence of screen perforation on HDR images and has presented a new transducer-based audio technology using a solid screen as a speaker.

The results of the study have been presented at the HPA Tech Retreat 2019, where their demo received the HPA Innovation Zone 2019 award
