Patricia Neidlinger is enrolled in the PhD Programme in Political and Social Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Luiz Ortiz. She holds a master in Public Policy with concentration in econometrics and technological unemployment from George Mason University. Prior to coming to Barcelona for her PhD, she was working as a research analyst at the Inter-American Development Bank. Before that, she worked at the International Monetary Fund as researcher for the Monetary Capital Markets and Research departments. At the IMF she was able to contribute with works on youth labor market outcomes and inequality issues. She has also published on Foreign Affairs magazine on environmental policies in Brazil.  Her main area of interest in technological unemployment of low-skilled workers.
