Veronica Schwarze completed an apprenticeship as media designer for digital and print media and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Applied Cognitive and Media Science from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Working in the field of Marketing and the IT sector, with a focus on user experience and website usability, she gained wide-ranging practical experience. She joined the HRW team in January 2021 and is part of the coordination team around Prof. Dr. Sabrina Eimler. The COURAGE project profits from her interdisciplinary expertise from different fields, ranging from psychology over design to usability and user experience aspects that are important in designing mini games, building mockups for experiments and exploring toxic phenomena in social media. Her special interest is in cultural diversity and racism.
